Shipping and Insurance Policy
Effective Date: September 9, 2026
Introduction
This Shipping & Insurance Policy explains how items are shipped to and returned by Goldadex, including the conditions that apply to prepaid shipping labels and insurance coverage.
1. Prepaid Shipping
Goldadex may provide customers with a complimentary shipping kit, prepaid shipping label, or shipping instructions for sending eligible items to Goldadex for evaluation.
The approved shipping carrier and applicable instructions will be identified on the prepaid label or in the shipping confirmation provided to the customer.
Customers must use the Goldadex-provided shipping label and follow all accompanying packaging and shipping instructions to qualify for any prepaid shipping or insurance benefits.
2. Estimated Value and Insurance Coverage
Shipments made using a Goldadex-provided prepaid label may include insurance coverage based on the customer’s estimated value of the items being shipped.
Before issuing a prepaid shipping label, Goldadex may ask the customer to describe the items and provide an estimated value. Goldadex may also request photographs, receipts, appraisals, or other information supporting the estimate.
The insurance amount shown with the shipping kit, prepaid label, or shipping confirmation is the maximum potential coverage for that shipment. The customer’s estimated value does not guarantee that the items have that value or that an insurance claim will be approved for the estimated amount.
Any reimbursement for a lost or damaged shipment is subject to the carrier’s or insurance provider’s investigation, documentation requirements, exclusions, coverage limits, and final determination of value.
Customers must not include additional items after the insurance amount has been established without first notifying Goldadex and receiving approval. If the estimated value or contents of the shipment change before it is sent, the customer must contact Goldadex so the insurance coverage and shipping arrangements can be reviewed.
3. Packaging Requirements
Customers are responsible for packaging their items securely and following all instructions provided by Goldadex.
Items should be placed inside appropriate protective packaging and sealed so they cannot move freely, fall out, or become damaged during transit. The exterior of the package should not identify or describe its valuable contents.
Goldadex may be unable to submit or support an insurance claim when loss or damage results from inadequate packaging or failure to follow the provided shipping instructions.
4. Dropping Off a Shipment
Customers must give the package directly to an authorized employee or representative of the designated carrier and obtain a receipt showing that the shipment was accepted and scanned.
Packages should not be left unattended, placed in an unsecured location, or deposited in a drop box unless Goldadex’s shipping instructions specifically permit it.
Customers should retain their shipping receipt and tracking information until the evaluation and payment or return process has been completed.
Customers may use Track My Kit in the Goldadex app to view available carrier tracking information for the outbound shipping kit and insured return package. Customers should still retain the carrier acceptance receipt and tracking number until the transaction is complete.
5. When Coverage May Not Apply
Prepaid shipping or insurance benefits may not apply when:
• The customer uses a shipping label that was not provided or approved by Goldadex.
• The package is not accepted or scanned by the designated carrier.
• Goldadex’s packaging or shipping instructions are not followed.
• The shipment contains prohibited, hazardous, illegal, or undisclosed items.
• The customer provides inaccurate or misleading information about the shipment.
• The customer adds items after the insurance amount has been established without notifying Goldadex.
• The claimed value exceeds the insurance limit shown for the shipment.
• The customer cannot provide requested proof of the shipment’s contents or estimated value.
• The loss or damage falls within an exclusion imposed by the carrier or insurance provider.
Customers who choose to ship items using their own carrier or shipping label do so at their own expense and risk unless Goldadex agrees otherwise in writing.
6. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
Customers may view available shipment updates through Track My Kit in the Goldadex app. Carrier scans, routes, and delivery estimates are controlled by the designated carrier and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Customers should contact Goldadex promptly if tracking stops updating for an unusual period or indicates that a shipment may be lost, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged.
Goldadex may assist with submitting a carrier or insurance claim when applicable. The customer must cooperate with the investigation and provide any requested information, which may include:
• The carrier acceptance receipt.
• Tracking information.
• A description of the items.
• Photographs of the items taken before shipment.
• Receipts, appraisals, or other evidence of value.
• Photographs of the packaging, when available.
• Any additional documents required by the carrier or insurance provider.
Any reimbursement is subject to investigation, approval, available coverage, and the carrier’s or insurance provider’s terms. Goldadex cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved, the amount that will be paid, or how long the claim process will take.
7. Delivery and Evaluation
Carrier tracking showing that a package was delivered does not necessarily mean that the package has completed Goldadex’s intake and verification process.
A “delivered” carrier status is different from a “received” Goldadex transaction status. After delivery, Goldadex must complete its intake process and associate the package with the correct transaction before its status is updated.
Goldadex may video record the package opening and initial contents review for security, documentation, and transparency. Once processed, the recording may be made available through Track My Kit in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
After delivery, Goldadex may inspect the package, verify its contents, document the received items, and conduct its evaluation before presenting an offer to the customer.
The estimated value provided for shipping insurance purposes is not an appraisal, purchase offer, or guarantee of the amount Goldadex will offer for the items.
The final offer will be based on Goldadex’s evaluation of the items received, including factors such as weight, purity, condition, authenticity, market value, and other applicable considerations.
Ownership of the items does not transfer to Goldadex merely because the package has been shipped, delivered, or evaluated. Ownership transfers only after the customer accepts Goldadex’s final offer, subject to Goldadex’s applicable Terms and Conditions.
8. Declined Offers and Return Shipping
Customers are not required to accept Goldadex’s final offer.
If a customer declines the final offer within the applicable response period, Goldadex will pay the cost of returning the submitted items to the customer using a carrier and shipping method selected by Goldadex.
Goldadex may insure a return shipment based on its documented evaluation of the returned items. Any return-shipment coverage is subject to the applicable carrier or insurance provider’s terms, exclusions, coverage limits, and claims procedures.
Goldadex will return the items to the verified address associated with the transaction unless another address is approved by Goldadex in writing.
Customers are responsible for confirming that their return address is complete, accurate, secure, and able to accept delivery.
When available, customers may view return-shipment tracking through Track My Kit in the Goldadex app. Tracking updates and estimated delivery dates are supplied by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Goldadex.
9. Unsuccessful or Undeliverable Returns
Goldadex is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or loss resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a held package, or another circumstance outside Goldadex’s reasonable control.
If a returned shipment is sent back to Goldadex as undeliverable, Goldadex will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply when a customer requests another delivery attempt after providing incorrect information or failing to accept the original return.
10. Shipping Restrictions
Customers may only send items that Goldadex accepts for evaluation. Packages must not contain cash, weapons, hazardous materials, illegal goods, stolen property, or any item prohibited by law or by the designated carrier.
Goldadex may report or surrender suspected stolen or illegal property to the appropriate authorities when required by law.
11. Policy Changes
Goldadex may update this Shipping & Insurance Policy periodically. Changes will apply to shipments created after the updated policy is posted unless otherwise required by law.
12. Contact Goldadex
For shipping questions, suspected loss or damage, or shipments that may exceed the stated insurance limit, contact Goldadex through the Contact Us page at www.goldadex.com before sending your items.
